Short description of the building/place:
While lemon trees are prevalent near the shore of the Amalfi coast, chestnut trees can be found on higher latitudes. These chestnut hains are part of the cultural and natural heritage in Tramonti and have recently been threatened by abandonment. The trees do not only give a habitat for animals, but also an income for the local farmers. This forest in the area of Tramonti was abandoned for some years until the team of Acarbio dedicated a month in autumn 2022 to its reclaiming.

Event description: Event for all interessted people to collect chestnuts and enjoy a lunch together in nature, based on chestnuts. After the collection various types of food made from chestnuts were provided. People took bags of chestnuts home with them to enjoy this autumn treasures.
